These are the products I know and like. Since I’m a big fan of any Kevin Riley products, I have a separate page for him titled ‘Product Creation Labs‘.
I’ll add to the list as I go along.

1.  Domain name registration:

My first choice for domain registration if you need a .ca domain or you want to pay one small price that includes privacy of your ownership details, is Netfirms -  Click Here for more information if you live in Canada. Registering with Netfirms from the United States or elsewhere, click  here.

Another very good domain registrar is -
World’s Largest Registrar – GoDaddy.com

2.  Then of course you need a hosting service, and my pick is:

3.  My very favorite software company for crafting and educational titles (drum roll please):

Broderbund.com - Free Shipping on $65 or More!

4.  After all that work you’ve done, you don’t want to lose it.
When is the last time you backed up? Now it’s free, easy and automatic: Mozy.com

5. So you aren’t spending much time on the computer because it takes you forever to type? Why not use speech recognition software and take the stress out of adding content. You have to train the program with the way you speak, but in no time at all, you’ll be typing at the speed of thought. There may be others, but the best software for the job is:

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Preferred by Nuance

6. There’s no time to go out to shop, but you’ve got that trusty computer. Now might even be the time to make a little money selling what you know or what you have on eBay, so check out some of the eBay products on the lower right hand side of the page for a little inspiration. And if you haven’t used their services yet, the first step for buying or selling is to register on eBay.

My daughter Melanie is a virtual assistant and Internet marketer.
