If you’ve been wanting to put a video up on youtube but you don’t have a camera, or don’t want to appear on camera, there is another option. It’s something called Search Stories and is fun and easy to use. Start by going to youtube.com/searchstories and you’ll see a number of examples. Check those out, some of them are really cute.
Basically, you decide on a topic and type in some words or phrases that you would use if you were searching for information on that topic on Google. Then decide if you want Google to look for images, maps, videos, etc. Finally, you choose some music for your project. Then the whole thing is put together as a little video, complete with sound.
The search story I created was about families and I mainly used images. I was quite proud of myself.
I haven’t yet figured out how people customize them with their own voices and videos. If you know, please tell me.

And if you happen to figure out how to do the custom things like adding your own voice and own videos, please let me know. One of the creators who used his own voice was a teenager, so I should be able to figure it out too.
