At the beginning of the year, I received a Flip video camera for my birthday. I’ve been meaning to write about it, so today I went on youtube and found a video about my Flip.
Mine looks just like the one in the video, except that I have one hour recording time. It also comes with connections for your tv so you can watch the videos there instead of just on your computer. The quality, both of video and sound, is excellent. And you don’t have the problem of the sound not being in sync with the picture, so it looks fairly professional.
I love my Flip and use it all of the time. One of my daughters just bought one on sale at Walmart in the States for just over $100, so the price is great. Here in Canada, at least where I live, the Flip is only sold at Walmart and Future Shop. Online there are a lot more choices.
Here’s the video and like I said, I can’t recommend it enough.

Want one, But will hope that the usual happens as far as price &/or Amazon starts selling used ones. By the way if you didn’t already know Amazon is great place to get Cd’s and book at much less than retail
You’ll love it once you do Robert. I have ordered a book from Amazon once, but it was a new one and I was quite pleased with the delivery and the product. I always worry about whether I’ll have to end up paying all kinds of duty to get things like that over the border.
Seems to me this is the same camera that Lynn Terry bought and almost from the git-go was turning out movie quality video’s.
As another reminder of the times we live in starting in June of ’09 a passport or for Washington State residents a enhanced drivers license will be needed to re-enter the US From Canada.Mr Cheapie here checks if Amazon has any used ones for most things(barring major appliances)
I think this was the camera Lynn was using. But she has a better and I think more expensive camera now. Forget the make of her new one.
How did you ever get that avatar Robert? I went and found one, but then had trouble with my blog when I tried to use it.
