Since I have a new computer, I also have a trial version of Microsoft Office 2007. Maybe I’m just old and set in my ways, but I don’t really like the new version of Word.
There are so many buttons and options at the top that it took me five minutes to find out how to save my document. I finally realized it was the Microsoft graphic in the top left corner. Of course, how silly of me to think there might be something written in plain English.
I’m sure there are a lot of good points about this version and maybe I can customize the toolbar so it isn’t so intimidating, but I have to wait until I’m feeling up to the challenge. Then again, maybe I could install my old version of Word.
